We are pleased to offer oral sedation dentistry to our patients who experience anxiety during dental procedures.
This service is provided with the use of a prescription, which the patient must fill prior to the appointment. So, you should talk to your dentist before the procedure in order to allow time to fill the prescription and follow instructions.
The prescription is for a mild sedative which the patient takes prior to the appointment and which leaves the patient awake, but comfortable and relaxed during the procedure.
Please be sure to follow all instructions provided by your dentist and your pharmacist, relating to the use of prescription sedatives. In particular, you must not drive once you’ve taken the sedative and should make arrangements for someone else to drive you to and from the appointment.
For more information, please ask us and we’ll be happy to discuss your options.
